Performance Evaluations with 'LOOP' Demo Video
PROJECT SUMMARY
As part of our Continuous Performance campaign across Block, Square, Cash App, and TIDAL, we introduced 'LOOP' — a Slack-integrated tool that made it simple for employees and managers to share feedback in the flow of their work.
While the launch included multiple enablement touchpoints, one critical need was an on-demand resource that not only explained how LOOP worked but also helped employees imagine how it could become part of their daily routines. That’s where the demo video came in. Read more about this project and my role in it below.

SKILLS
LOOP Demo Video
Working closely with partners in Manager Excellence, Employee Experience, DEI, and Talent, I scripted and storyboarded the LOOP demo before producing it in Adobe Premiere Pro. The goal was to make a resource employees could revisit whenever they needed a quick refresher. Survey feedback confirmed its impact—employees appreciated having a clear, visual guide that fit seamlessly into their workflow.
'LOOP' Demonstration Video
Visual Continuity for Cognitive Connections
Because LOOP was part of a larger Continuous Performance campaign, it was important that the video didn’t feel like a one-off. To support learning transfer, I used the same design language, typography, and motion style as the broader campaign (example below) — while giving LOOP its own complementary color palette.
Adult learning theory emphasizes the value of cognitive connections — when learners see familiar visual cues, they more easily connect new information to prior knowledge. By reinforcing continuity, the video positioned LOOP as a core component of the campaign rather than just another tool.
Learning in Context: The Employee Storyline
To help employees see themselves using LOOP in the context of their workflows, I built a narrative featuring Rogelio (Team Member) and Oliver (Manager) as they wrapped up a project and exchanged feedback. Adult learners need to understand the why and how before they’ll adopt new behaviors, so showing LOOP in action through a realistic workplace scenario bridged the gap between functionality and application.

Step-by-Step Demonstration
In addition to the narrative, the video walked viewers through each step of LOOP’s interface from a user perspective. Pairing context with explicit functionality gave employees a full picture: why LOOP mattered, how to use it, and what it looked like in practice. This blend of scenario and step-by-step demonstration supported retention and helped employees feel confident adopting the tool.

Outcomes & Impact
Within the first month of launch, over 40% of employees had watched the video, and it continues to serve as a go-to LOOP resource today, especially as the company continues to grow and new employees continually need to get ramped up.
Feedback highlighted how valuable it was to have an on-demand, visual guide that not only showed the steps but modeled real workplace use. By embedding adult learning principles into the design, the video helped employees move beyond awareness into actual behavior change.
