Continuous Performance Enablement Campaign
PROJECT SUMMARY
To strengthen performance and feedback across Block, I co-led the design and rollout of a company-wide enablement campaign focused on continuous performance. Feedback practices were inconsistent, and teams needed clearer structure and support to drive growth and accountability.
Our approach blended behavior change, skill-building, and systems design. We introduced LOOP—a lightweight Slack-integrated feedback tool—and equipped employees and managers with practical resources to make feedback part of everyday work. I served as lead designer for all enablement assets, from virtual workshops and on-demand guides to branded communications and resource hubs.
Partnering with People Leadership, Manager Excellence, DEI, Internal Comms, and Employee Experience, we ensured every touchpoint reflected Block’s design standards and drove engagement. Within the first month, over 80% of employees used LOOP, making it one of Block’s most widely adopted internal tools at launch.

SKILLS
Design for Clarity & Behavior Change
The Continuous Performance campaign focused on building the individual skills and team practices needed to foster a culture of regular feedback and performance management across Block. I designed branded learning materials—including live workshop decks and on-demand guides—that helped employees and managers develop shared norms around feedback in the flow of work, goal-setting, and growth-oriented conversations.
While rooted in Block’s core brand guidelines, the design system for this campaign was given a subtle identity of its own—visually signaling when content was part of the Continuous Performance initiative, while maintaining cohesion across the broader employee experience. We also used distinct color tones to help employees quickly identify resources by each of our primary sub-topics: Feedback, Evaluation, or Promotion.
Strategic Campaign Messaging
To drive engagement with Continuous Performance and build early momentum around LOOP, I partnered with Internal Comms and People Leadership to design a multi-channel communication campaign. This included branded internal emails, Slack announcements, and digital signage across Block offices—all crafted to be visually consistent with the campaign’s identity while standing out in an environment where employees are already inundated with information.
The goal was to keep the message clear, actionable, and aligned with Block’s tone—prompting curiosity, reinforcing learning, and ultimately encouraging teams to build stronger feedback habits.

Easy, On-Demand Resource Access
To ensure employees could easily find the right tools and resources when they needed them, I designed internal resource pages that served as the central home for Continuous Performance content. These pages combined intuitive navigation, purposeful visual hierarchy, and branded graphics to make the learning experience feel seamless and accessible—whether someone was attending a workshop, exploring LOOP, or building new feedback habits on their own.
My focus was on balancing clarity with brand, ensuring the UI was both functional and visually engaging—helping reduce friction and drive ongoing engagement with the campaign.

Multi-Modal Learning, LOOP Video Demo
To support the launch of LOOP, we created a short video that went beyond the how-to—giving employees real context on when and why to use the tool, how team norms could be built around it, and what effective feedback looks like in practice.
While our branded guides offered detailed guidance, video provided a more engaging, accessible format. I partnered with HRBPs to co-write the script and storyboard, then edited the piece in Adobe Premiere Pro using visuals from our broader campaign. Employees shared that the video made LOOP easier to understand and more enjoyable to learn.
Research shows video improves engagement and retention—especially when demonstrating behavior in context. This resource helped reinforce key messages and drive real adoption across the company.
Outcomes & Impact
The Continuous Performance campaign helped spark a meaningful behavior shift in how feedback and performance were approached at Block. With over 80% of employees engaging with LOOP in the first month, the initiative succeeded in not only launching a new tool—but in driving the behaviors and mindsets that support sustained performance and growth.
By integrating branded learning assets, a Slack-based tool, clear team norms, and engaging comms, we were able to meet employees where they were—making feedback more accessible, habitual, and effective. This work highlighted the power of thoughtful, end-to-end learning design in enabling culture change at scale.
