Building Scalable Learning Systems, LMS Strategy
PROJECT SUMMARY
After years of disconnected platforms and inconsistent learner experiences, Block launched an initiative to unify all employee learning under a single, scalable LMS—Docebo.
As a Senior Learning Experience Designer on the centralized L&D team, I was nominated to lead the platform launch. My work spanned UX flow design, UI customization aligned with brand and accessibility standards, and backend strategy for content management, integrations, and admin access. Every detail was crafted to create a seamless, engaging, and adaptable experience that would scale across the company.

SKILLS
Mapping User Flows
To design an LMS that worked for everyone—learners, admins, and content creators—I started by mapping key user journeys. These visual flows uncovered friction points and helped shape everything from homepage architecture to course discovery.
This early design research gave us a shared blueprint, aligning stakeholders around the learner experience and setting a strong foundation for an intuitive, needs-based platform.

User Interface Design,
Brand Alignment
It was important that the LMS felt like a seamless extension of the Block brand experience, so I partnered closely with our Creative Studio team to align all visual elements with Block’s brand guidelines. From typography and color usage to iconography and tone, every detail was considered to reflect the company’s identity—creating a cohesive, trustworthy employee experience across all learning touchpoints.

Personalized Employee Experiences
Through Docebo’s integration with Workday, we were able to dynamically tailor the learning experience based on role, tenure, and organization. I designed these personalized user journeys to help each employee access the most relevant learning content faster in the time of need.
Each interface featured curated widgets, branded visuals, and prioritized resources, turning the LMS into a reflection of each employee’s development journey rather than a static library.

Branded Widgets
To maintain a seamless and immersive experience, I extended Block’s brand identity into the design of Docebo’s platform widgets—ensuring the personalized experience continued as learners engaged with content. This attention to detail supported a cohesive, multi-modal learning journey within a beautifully branded interface, reinforcing both usability and trust at every step.

Platform Governance
To sustain the platform long-term, I led the LMS Governance Committee, bringing together admins and stakeholders from cross-functional learning teams, Employee Experience, DEI, Legal, and beyond. I defined strategic priorities, facilitated alignment across teams, and created clear processes for admin onboarding, content management and system maintenance.
I also managed our partnership with Docebo’s vendor team—ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement as the platform evolved.

Outcomes & Impact
As launch lead, I coordinated the successful transition of all partner teams—Square Sales, Square Customer Success, Cash App Operations, Cash App Customer Success, TIDAL, and Block—onto Docebo in time for the unified rollout.
We reduced manual administrative work by roughly 40% through automated access and learning plan enrollment, thanks to Workday and Google Suite integrations. More importantly, employees could now move across learning content with ease, creating a consistent experience that earned overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The result was a scalable, brand-aligned learning ecosystem that set a new standard for how learning happens at Block.
